A procurement desk, not a platform
Independent, paid by the buyer, never by the supplier.
Sourcia grew out of a simple observation: most European SMEs and mid-caps have no purchasing department. The owner, the production manager or the engineering office does the sourcing on top of their job, with whatever time is left. The result is predictable — one supplier per category, no comparison point, and prices that quietly drift for years.
We are not a marketplace, not a directory, not software. We are a team that picks up the phone, reads drawings, chases workshops that do not reply, and goes to see the plant when the stakes justify it. That work cannot be automated, which is exactly why it creates value.
Our business model fits in one sentence: we are paid by the buyer, never by the supplier. No commission, no paid listings, no "partner" suppliers to place. It is the only structure that guarantees an honest recommendation, and it is what sets us apart from most intermediaries in this sector.
We work in French, Dutch, English and German, across four neighbouring but genuinely different markets. A Luxembourg buyer who only canvasses France ignores Flanders. A Dutch buyer who only canvasses the Netherlands ignores Wallonia and eastern France. Those linguistic blind spots are where most of our added value comes from.

Our principles
Independence
No supplier commission. Our fee comes from you, so our recommendation serves you.
Traceability
Every consultation is documented: who was canvassed, who replied, at what price and on what terms.
Fieldwork
We travel. Two hours in a workshop say more than forty questions by email.
Something to source? Describe it, we handle it.
Answer within 24 working hours. First conversation free and without commitment.
